Continental databases, SOURCE GIS platform, petrophysical databases, and literature surveys

Structural traps

Fusing regional potential field interpretations and published geological data, building accurate regional frameworks for basin analysis, from basement architecture to cover responses consistent with the plate model, crustal evolution, and depth-to-basement information.

Tectonics analysis - extraction of geological information across the entire spectrum of geoscience data

Tectonics analysis helps you understand the exploration relevant regional geological setting of the reservoir in terms of structure, stratigraphic sequence, depositional environment, and rock types.

Basin Analysis - petroleum systems in terms of structure, source rocks and accumulation

Our experts will guide you through all the steps involved in the evaluation of the gravity magnetic and structural analysis used to define the depositional model of the basin, the timing of the deposition source and reservoir rock, generation of hydrocarbon and effective migration to the reservoir.

Stratigraphic Sequence Models - geometries and architecture of a sedimentary basin

Gravity magnetic and structural analysis establish a detailed correlation of the sedimentary layers and delineate the depositional system to help you understand the depositional sequence geometries and stratigraphic architecture of a sedimentary basin.

Structural analysis - understanding geologically complex basins occurring in collisional and extensional settings.

Using a rich fusion of published structural data, gravity magnetic analysis, and a wide and deep experience we help you identify the structural elements in the basement and stratigraphic cover, then integrate them into a structural framework, to identify blocks for reservoir modeling.

Plate tectonic reconstructions - restoring 3D basin and reservoir models

Gravity magnetic and structural analysis help in the assessment of basin fluid migration and fracture distribution within the reservoir model and enables the validation of subsurface models in regions where seismic data is scarce or of poor quality.

Geophysical Inversion - supporting subsurface modeling procedures

Modern gravity magnetic and structural analysis can extract more data by converting geophysical measurements into 3D images of the subsurface which are integrated with surface geological observations to generate a meaningful geological model

Capabilities

Extending regional crustal structural analytics by interpreting structural, gravity and magnetic data at resolutions addressing exploration problems in a cost-effective manner.

Addressing the challenges of merging multiple data sets generating structural interpretations for exploration.

Structural analytics

Significant on-going effort yielding important new structural and tectonics insights by decomposing the gravity and magnetic fields into multi-scale ensembles, fusing the interpreted stuctural fields based on specific fusion rules.

Multi-source data fusion

We are experts at capturing, editing, validating, and fusing of varying quality data sets to produce consistent multi-source, multi-scale, and multi-level data resources that are excellent starting points for your global venture, regional screening, or block evaluation scale.

Gravity Magnetics Interpretation

Our gravity, magnetic analytics expertise together with experience across exploration scales, form the basis of our capabilities including structural and tectonic interpretation, depth to basement, and basin analysis products.

Robust Depth Estimation

In order to produce an accurate depth to basement solution, Eslan Labs uses a range of complementary methods including spectral, analytic signal, tilt derivative, and extended Euler convolution, together with experience and geologic and geophysical knowledge. Determining depth to basement require stable derivatives.

Multi-Scale Data

Gravity, magnetic analytics are useful when the main field contributions are caused by sources of different depths and extents. Our multi-scale horizontal and vertical derivative approach is built with a stable transformation that results from the stable behavior of the vertical integral transformation of the field with the properties of high order derivative transformations

Stable Signal Processing

Traditional gravity, magnetic processing introduce distortions in the field fitting an arbitrary ‘regional’ and ‘local’ definition. Far superior are multi-scale methods, based on the properties of field vertical derivatives, performing a non-arbitrary separation.

SOURCE Spatial Databases

All data used in our gravity magnetics analytics interpretations are stored using open-source file management systems. These databases include attributes and metadata describing what the data contains, and explanation of attribute tables and examples of how the data was used.

Open GIS

Due to the fundamental spatial nature of geological and geophysical data, all the work carried out at Eslan Labs is underpinned by an open GIS strategy, so all our staff are trained to use open GIS, including editing, manipulation of spatial data and attribution.
